Sony PlayStation 5 coming to India by the end of this year. After unveiling its much-awaited next-generation gaming console — PlayStation 5 last month, Sony has finally launched the dedicated teaser listing page of the gaming console on Amazon and Flipkart website that clearly mentions the launch date as ‘Late 2020’. The console has also been listed on the company’s official website.
The listing page confirms that there will be two variants of the console– the regular PlayStation 5 with a disc and a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition which by looks and rumours will be relatively slimmer and cheaper. In addition to the two variants of the console, the dedicated page also confirms all the additional PlayStation 5 accessories that Sony unveiled at the event which include the new DualSense controller and it’s charging station, a new Pulse 3D wireless headset, an HD camera and a media remote.
Apart from this, the listing page also shows some features of the PlayStation 5 and some new titles that are expected to launch alongside the console. The list of games listed on the page includes Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, and more.
Sony PlayStation 5 features
The PlayStation 5 features a new dual-tone Black and White design with the Blue LED lights surrounding the air vents. Sony has already confirmed that the console will be powered by AMD Zen 2-based processors and 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz GPU. In addition to that, it will come with 16GGB DDR6 RAM and a custom 825GB SSD for faster loading speed.
Sony has not yet confirmed the exact launch date or pricing of the console. We will get to know more about it by the end of the year.
